I was born and raised in Irving, Texas. My roots go pretty deep in Texas. All my Grandparents were born in Texas. Some of relatives have been in North Texas since the 1870s. I've always lived in North Texas, Denton being the furthest from Dallas or Tarrant Counties.
I've visited other parts of the country and really like this area. The only area I would consider moving to is Austin. The only thing that kept me from moving is the length of my employement with the same company since 1994. How many people do you know that get 22 days of vacation, 10 holidays, and nine days of sick time per year?!
I'm married to
sassywoman. We got married in Cabo San Lucas back in July 2003. We're enjoying being married to each other and the struggles and challenges that a married couple take on as a team.
I'm started graduate school in August 2003. I was accepted into the MBA program at UT Dallas, but later changed my major to a MS in Information Technology and Managment. I completed the Masters of Science in December 2005 and find it more useful in my current position. I'm still working on the MBA and hope to finish it in the Fall of 2008.
